Rheem Water Heaters

The Richmond-headquartered company with nearly 100 years of its history, Rheem, is a 5-billion-worth company today (if to judge by its annual revenue). Today it employs over 10,000 people, who produce water heaters, plumbing, HVAC equipment, cooling units, furnaces for households, pool & spa heaters, and many other positions on the list.

It has multiple business divisions, some of which were in the past independent companies, such as Ruud or Eemax, also producing water heaters and adjacent equipment. It’s interesting to know that the history of the Rheem Company is a combination of organic growth and acquisitions. The Ruud wing was an even older company than Rheem, being founded in 1897 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania until it was acquired in the 20th century.

The model line of hot water heaters by Rheem include:

  • • tankless models;
  • • tank-based gas-powered models;
  • • hybrid tank-based models.

The models are made for households and commercial users.
